At Tilly Island we understand that sometimes things just don’t fit or look the way you expected when trying the items on at home. In this case we are happy to exchange or offer a credit note on full priced items only so long as the item is:
- Returned in original saleable condition. In their original packaging with tags intact.
- Unwashed, unworn and undamaged.
To exchange or return an order for a credit note, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to notify us of your intention of sending your item back.
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT RETURNS FOR EXCHANGE OR CREDIT NOTE ON FULL PRICE ITEMS IF THEY ARE RECEIVED WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM ORDER DATE
(Returns outside of this time frame will be returned to the customer and not accepted by Tilly Island).
To return or exchange an item for a credit note please follow these steps:
- Contact Tilly Island at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know your order number and if you require an exchange or would like a store credit.
- Place your garments for return inside with a copy of your invoice (that has your name and order number on it) with your preference stated whether you want a credit or exchange.
- Tape the satchel closed and label the front with our returns address

4. Lodge at post office.
Our returns policy is valid for 14 days from purchase and cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer, unless the items are declared faulty.
If you wish to exchange the item for a different size or colour, please return your item including a self addressed pre paid postage satchel. As we cannot take any liability for the loss or damage during the return transit we suggest you send via a trackable Australia Post method.
STORE CREDITS will be applied for the value of the garments ordered and will not include the freight costs of the order and will be valid for 90 days from date of return.
FAULTY GOODS the 14 day return policy is not valid. Please contact us and we will get further details from you regarding the fault and advise on how to proceed from there.
All items returned MUST be in original condition and not be used, worn, altered, washed and must have the original tags attached.
Exchanges/Change of mind/Returns are not accepted on Sale Items.
